JAPAN DAY 3 Part 1: FUSHIMI INARI, KYOTO

Day 3 in Japan, its time for us to check out our apartment at Kyoto and headed to Osaka and then to Tokyo. Because last night it was impossible for us to visit Fushimi Inari, hence we decided to just make a quick stop this morning there.

To get there (Fushimi Inari), from Kyoto Station take JR Sagano Line to Inari Station, platform no 8 if im not mistaken. Nak kena suap semua, lemak lah. 😝

dalam train syok sendiri bergambar

Sampai je Inari Station, keluar tu memang betul-betul depan pintu masuk Fushimi Inari dah. Yang ni takyah jalan jauh, selamat kaki.

belakang kitorang tu Inari Station

Untuk good luck katanya kalau minum air dalam ni.

Anak beranak posing dulu

Cepat-cepat ke tempat tiang oren ni. Datang sini, ni lah spot wajib ambik gamba. So bayangkanlah nak meredah lautan manusia. Time ni dah tak peduli orang, asal aku dapat shot cantik, hahaha. Nak tunggu timing dapat gamba betul-betul bebas manusia lain, memang payah. Nampak sorang dua orang asing tu pon kire bersyukur dari berjuta manusia masuk dalam gambar.

Laki aku cakap "Yang, ni ada lagi pokok sakura"

Aku pon percaya la hai. Siapa tak caya laki kan. 😄

Ni bukan sakura cik bang oi. Adeh. Tapi time tu aku memang ingat sakura dah tu. 😂😂

Kebetulan macam ada orang bukak stall jual street food kat tepi tu, apa lagi, takoyaki lah yang dicari. Kitorang try beli kudap-kudapan Japan herb sebab vegetarian katanya. So yakin halal. Rasa biasa je, kenyal-kenyal manis macam tu je.

Yang jadi ramai orang tu, sebab ramai budak-budak sekolah Jepun macam buat lawatan sambil belajar kat sini. Plus dengan tourist seantero dunia lagi. Padahal kitorang sampai sini dalam pukul 8.30 pagi camtu.

train balik ke Kyoto u check out

Rushing sikit sebab sebenarnya kitorang tak check out lagi, bag dan barang masih ada dekat apartment. Malas nak mengangkut. So kena cecepat sebab check out pukul 11 pagi. Kitorang naik train balik pukul 10 lebih, memang ngam-ngam je sampai rumah dalam pukul 11 pagi. Ambik bag (da siap packing malam sebelum tu), terus check out.

Orang Jepun memang on time okay. Tengah nak angkat bag tu dia call tanya kenapa tak check out lagi da pukul 11 pagi. 😁😁 Dia tak tahu, orang Malaysia memang camni. Hahaha.

Bermula lah episod ke Osaka.

Zara dah penat, sambung kemudian cerita pasal Osaka.

JAPAN DAY 2 Part 1: KYOTO IN ONE DAY!

Ridiculous right? Nak explore the whole Kyoto in one day, plus you are travelling with infant (Zara is still consider as infant okay, still below 2 years old) 😜

So, kita pilih yang penting2 je okay. Ikut kan full itinerary asal memang banyak tempat yang nak pergi, but due to some circumstances, we went to these 3 places:

ARASHIYAMA BAMBOO FOREST

expectation

vs

reality

So many people, its hard to take a decent photos without people photobombed you 😂😂

For those who wants to go here, the route is so easy. From Kyoto Station take JR Sagano Line (covered by JR Pass) to Saga Arashiyama Station (platform no 33. Kalau was-was, tanya je locals dalam train tu "Saga Arashiyama?" sambil tunjuk train, tak perlu cakap Jepun pon. 😀 Iols dah siap bg no platform dah ni, uols tinggal cari dan naik je, xyah susah-susah study routes lagi dah. Nak confirmkan, boleh guna google maps jugak.

Tapi google maps akan bagi banyak options, so ad certains option trains yang dia bagi tu tak cover dengan JR Pass, contoh macam local trains dan subway, so kena beli tiket lain pulak.

Kebanyakkan tempat yang aku pilih nak pergi ni semua cover dengan JR Pass, so takpayah pikir dah nak beli tiket, tunjuk je JR Pass dengan gate officer. Guna JR Pass, kita tak boleh lalu autogate tau, kena lalu sebelah office gate officer tu, nanti dia buka kan gate manual.

Kitorang tak naik sebab sakura dah abis gugur, so rugi kalau naik pon. 😥😭😭.

Okay, keluar je station tadi, akan nampak ada jalan/lorong kecil ke kanan (jalan bertar), ikut je jalan tu straight, sampai nampak orang ramai2 nak masuk kawasan Bamboo Forest.

straight je ikut anak panah okay

Bila dah nampak cafe ni, ni tandanya dah nak sampai, belok kiri, nt akan nampak gate/entrance ke Bamboo Forest.

Bagi yang nak sewa kimono sambil posing dekat sini (like we did). There are lots of kimono rental shop here. Tapi sebab sebelum sampai sana, when iols google, keluar 1 kedai je, so we'ols memang cari kedai ni je.

But along the way to Bamboo Forest itself actually lots of others kimono rental shop available. So dont worry if you guys miss this shop at the first place. Just walk towards the Bamboo Forest and you will find others shop. Price ranging from 2500-3000 yen per person for the kimono. Complete with socks/sandal, hairdo and accessories, clutch.

We'ols tak masuk sebab weols cheapskate, masuk Bamboo Forest yang free je 😝😝 and tak pusing habis sebab penat.

Kawaii, Kawaii *flash \*flash* orang duk sibuk ambik gamba dia. Budget Kim K sangat posing pastu dah malu menyorok belakang mama.

tangan pergi mana anak oi
😄😄

YOSHIYA (HALAL FOOD)

Jalan dah, posing dah, penat pon dapat. So next thing is EAT! If you forgot to bring lunchbox, dont worry, there is halal restaurant at Arashiyama named Yoshiya. Just google Yoshiya or from Bamboo Forest just walk towards Togetsu Bridge (take left turn at the junction) and walk straight untill you found the restaurant.

Just find the lantern 😍😍 and you will find the restaurant. The girl posing in the picture is still working there when i went there. She's Indonesian, so you can talk Malay with her. There is also prayer room here. Bonus!

kid menu (orang dewasa pon boleh sebab banyak)

tempura with rice and soba mee

Price ranging from 1500-5000 yen per set.

Silalah order Unagi, kang balik menyesal macam orang tu *not me*

KIMONO FOREST

This one kinda under-rated. Outshine by Bamboo Forest maybe. Lagi senang kerja.

We were there at around 4.30pm, so the pillars look ordinary. You guys better go there during night okay, so you can see the pillars are glowing in the dark. The Kimono Forest is actually made up of cylindrical shaped pillars of dyed fabrics/ the kimono.

It should be magnificent view like this. 😲😲

Thats the expectation guys. Hahaha.

anak tido dont care

Kat depan Kimono Forest ni ada kedai jual macam-macam, makanan, soft ice cream. Kitorang tak try sebab dah ada perasaan was-was halal ke tak halal. So, bila was-was, tak boleh la. 😅

TOGETSU BRIDGE

Not so sure the history/ the story about this bridge. But the view is stunning, so must take picture here. I bet the view will be more extra ordinary if the Sakura is still blooming. Sadly, by the time we were in Japan, there were no more Sakura left. 😭😭

Done with Arashiyama, spent almost a day here, so others like Nijo Castle, Philosopher's Path/ Tetsugaku-no-michi, Gion (to get a glimpse of Geisha), all the temples (Golden Pavilion etc), Nara Park, all scratch from the list. Kalau korang sempat (tak sesat, rushing2 je ambik gamba then cecepat ke next location, single so xyah pikir baby's condition and all), boleh lah pergi semua tempat tu.

Its time for us to go back to our apartment and ready for our night adventure (which is never happen, because those two collapsed once we reached our apartment, and there was no sign of waking up).

Mama pasrah.

dinner malam tu kita masak je Brahim's

Sebab rasa bersalah, ajak Mama jalan-jalan tengok Kyoto Tower je lepas dinner. Fyi, Kyoto Tower tu sebelah je dengan Kyoto Station, jadi boleh jalan kaki je. Tengok-tengok orang sambil merasa angin sejuk Kyoto. 😐
